European Vascular Course
The European Vascular Course brings together vascular specialists from across the world for three days of intensive learning, innovation, and collaboration. With a unique blend of expert lectures, hands-on workshops, and interactive case discussions, the course offers participants the opportunity to sharpen their skills, exchange knowledge, and explore the latest developments in vascular care. Designed for surgeons, interventionalists, and allied professionals, the EVC is more than a course, it is a meeting point for advancing excellence in vascular medicine and surgery.
Preparations are in full swing for the 29th edition of the European Vascular Course (EVC), and we warmly invite every vascular specialist, from young trainees to experienced colleagues, to join us. EVC 2026 will once again offer an exceptional training and education program in arterial, venous, and vascular access medicine, with program highlights including:
- Cutting-edge lecture
- Hands-on masterclasses
- Intimate speakers' corners
- Over 300 workshops
News: Handing over the reins
After nearly 30 years of organising EVC, Prof. Michael Jacobs handed over the reins to a new EVC executive board. This board was officially installed on 8 September 2025. A festive day during which we also reinforced our long-standing partnerships with MECC Maastricht and Partners in Congress Organisation – PCO.
The new EVC board will be led by Prof. Barend Mees, joined by Dr Marie Josee van Rijn and Dr Çağdaş Ünlü, and supported by Ernst Jan Broer, CFO. We are greatly honored to be trusted to continue the important work Prof. Michael Jacobs started. Prof. Michael Jacobs build EVC from scratch into one of the most respected training and education events, especially for the younger generation of vascular specialists. Now it is up to us to carry the EVC legacy forward with renewed energy and dedication.
