Reaccreditation of CARIM by the Royal Dutch Academy of Arts and Sciences
CARIM, the Research School for Cardiovascular Disease of University Maastricht and its Academic Hospital, has been granted accreditation by the Royal Dutch Academy of Arts and Sciences for the fourth consecutive time. This accreditation is valid for six years. The Accreditation Committee found that CARIM fulfills an important role in the field of cardiovascular research and has made some recommendations for future consideration.
The Accreditation Committee of the Royal Dutch Academy of Arts and Sciences evaluates the quality of a research school according to specific criteria with regard to its scientific mission and coherence (the extent to which this is realized), educational and training programme and administrative and budgetary arrangements.
