On a more incidental basis CARIM investigators collaborate with scientists from almost all other universities in the Netherlands. A NWO genomics program grant was awarded for a research program on atherosclerosis performed by groups in Leiden (T. van Berkel), Amsterdam Medical Center (H. Pannekoek) and CARIM (M. Daemen).
