Research Master

The two-year research master’s programme offers biomedical research training in the exciting area of cardiovascular science and diseases. During the master’s programme you develop scientific skills in the cardiovascular field through theoretical and practical courses. Cardiovascular diseases are approached by innovative research, from molecule to patient and from bench to bedside. Close interaction with expert teachers and researchers will promote your individual development as a scientist in this multidisciplinary research domain. You will be embedded in the stimulating scientific environment of CARIM School for Cardiovascular Diseases. As a graduate of the master’s programme you will be a top candidate for a position in a biomedical PhD programme, in particular in the cardiovascular field, but also in related areas of biomedical research, or a career in applied biomedical science, for instance in the life sciences industry.

The Research Master in Cardiovascular Biology and Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO).
