Microvascular dysfunction and glycocalyx

Central within the glycocalyx research program is the development of new methods to assess glycocalyx protective properties in experimental settings and to translate these methods into non-invasive clinical tools to test whether early glycocalyx modification identifies persons at risk for vascular complications.
