Martin Tossings receives UM Award
09 jan 2012
At the New Year reception of Maastricht University on January 5, our colleague Martin Tossings received a UM Award of special merit for his work at Maastricht University.
The UM Award is given to employees in recognition of their distinctive performance in administrative or academic matters, in the provision of services, or for commendable social work based at Maastricht University. Of the 25 employees nominated, the committee, chaired by André Postema (Vice-Chairman of the Executive Board), awarded two UM Awards for the year 2011.
Martin Tossings, who has worked at UM for 35 years, formerly at Accounting Services and currently as a controller at CARIM, was praised for his expertise and unflagging dedication. For years, we have been relying on his 'high-level services' when it comes to managing projects. We highly appreciate both Martin's expertise and his friendly disposition that inspires a pleasant working atmosphere.
